Panna cotta is Italian classic dessert made of cream, milk and sugar, mixing with gelatin boil and then served cold. These foods are believed to have originated in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, and can be found in almost all of Italy.
Panna Cotta served with fruits such as cherries, caramel, chocolate sauce or fruit coulis. It is unknown exactly how or when the dessert was first presented at an elite restaurant. The dish is made of a very sweet cream is very appropriate to cover your previous dinner filled with foods that are served in a pasta with a dominant flavor. These foods can be a neutralizer as your tongue after enjoying a variety of typical Italian dishes.
To make a panacotta, sugar is dissolved in warm cream. The cream may be flavoured, either by infusing spices and the like in it, or by adding rum, coffee, vanilla, and so on. Gelatin is softened in a cold liquid, then added to warm cream mixture. This is poured into moulds and allowed to set.The moulds may have caramel in the bottoms, giving a result similar to a crème caramel. Serve with warm hot fudge sauce and fresh raspberries on top.
