Toraja which also known as Tana Toraja the majority inhabited by toraja ethnic, the tribe who settled in the mountanious northern part of south Sulawesi. Toraja tribe still maintaining a distinctive lifestyle and still show the original Austronesian lifestyle.
Tana Toraja is one of the conservation of cultural proto-Malay Austronesian civilization that still maintained until now. almost all the aspect of life in Toraja is still traditional, such as customs, culture and art, houses, carving, weaving to culinary. this make the Indonesia government nominate Toraja to UNESCO to be the world heritage site since 2009.

"Lemo" is often called as the ghost home, the cemetary in Lemo is a blend of art, death and ritul. "Londa" is the steep rocks besides Toraja typical tombs. "Batu Tumonga" is the place where we can find a megalith menhir.
